EBHC Short courses can count towards an MSc

Each year the Postgraduate Programme in Evidence-Based Health Care welcomes over 90 students onto our short courses.  Did you know that if you take the course for academic credit and submit and pass the assignment you can request to bring the short course into a programme of study?*

The rules are:

  • The short course must have been completed within the previous two years of admission to a programme of study and students can request for the credit to be imported.
  • The assignment mark will count towards the final grade for the programme and the credit will be subsumed.
  • The start date for the programme of study will be set to the term in which the first imported module took place.

*The Course Director continues to have discretion to decline requests, for example, where only borderline passes or passes on re-submission are evidenced.
