The recent story around exercise and physical activity prompted me to write a blog “Abandon exercise? Only if you believe unevidenced opinion”.

The principles behind using expert opinion (plus potential dangers) and the resultant debate prompted me to consider using the story in my EBM teaching.

Here are my slides exercise and obesity – expert opinion.  Feel free to use them too.

(I acknowledge Mrs Mahtani, my wife, for critical advice on the slides and patience on a Sunday afternoon when I was supposed to mow the lawn)
