One day workshop on Evidence-Based PracticeOnline Registration
26th June 2013 (1 day). Rewley House, 1 Wellington Square, Oxford, OX1 2JAMore Information

This workshop is intended to serve as an introduction to evidence-based medicine. It is aimed at clinicians and other health care professionals working with humans and animals who wish to gain knowledge of critical appraisal and experience in the practice of evidence-based health care. This workshop is repeated in November more information and registration can be found here.

 

Teaching Evidence-Based PracticeOnline Registration
9th-13th September 2013 (4 days). Oxford

Taken as either a stand-alone course of part of the Msc in Evidence - Based Health Care this module is aimed at all health care professionals, who either work in the field of human or animal, who already have some knowledge of critical appraisal and experience in the practice of evidence-based health care and who want to explore issues around teaching EBM.

Teaching will be addressed through the exploration of different educational models for teaching evidence-based practice and identification and discussion of issues of pedagogy, curriculum design development and maintenance. The aim will be to promote the teaching of evidence-based health care at your home institution.

Personal Development will be addressed by offering guidance and help in extending and advancing participants' existing critical appraisal and teaching skills.

CEBM Teaching Evidence-Based Practice Workshop has been rolled into the Oxford Programme in Evidence-Based Healthcare and will be managed and administered by the Department of Continuing Education, University of Oxford with tutoring and support from CEBM.
